Lena Hoschek S/S 2011 & See You Soon!

As some of you may know Lena Hoschek is my favorite current designer. So, when I came across her s/s 2011 collection I knew I had to share. I'm completely in love with everything as usual! Oh my goodness, and the Elvis bikini! Yes that will be mine next spring, hehe! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
The time has come my dears, I'm off to Nashville! We'll be leaving super early in the morning Friday and arriving in Nashville Friday afternoon. I simply can't wait! When we picked up our moving truck this afternoon it really hit me that this is all really happening! I'm just so overwhelmed with happiness and excitement! So, the next time I talk to you I'll be in Tennessee. Here I come Nashville! ;o)

Saying Goodbye To The East Coast

1930s Bathing Suit: Antique Mall

Here is one of my favorite vintage pieces that I've been meaning to show you forever! It's a 1930's suit that I found at an antique mall at the end of last summer. I couldn't believe it when I saw it and was even more surprise when it fit me perfectly! Sadly it's not in the best condition. It's made of wool and has some small holes here and there, so it's really not the bathing suit to wear swimming. I love it so much anyway! It reminds me of the suits in this picture.
Anyway, it was fun to take these pictures at the beach. Moving to Nashville we won't have the ocean anymore, so it was kind of a goodbye to the sea. Though I have family that live here so I can come visit the ocean anytime I want! Funny back story...while taking these pics there were three men fishing. They were making funny, but nice comments while I was frolicking in the sand, lol!

I'm off to do more packing. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Ask Me Anything Sale!

Picture found here

Well ya'll I'm moving one week from today! I'd still like to lighten my load a bit and clear out my shop as much as possible. That means I'll be having an Ask Me Anything Sale! So, if there is anything in my shop that you would love to have but you'd like it a bit cheaper just message me a price. I'll either say yes or counteroffer with a price I think is more suitable. That's all there is to it! Sale will be ending Wednesday July 14th.

PS: Tomorrow I'll be having a little shop my closet sale right here on my blog. Just a few dresses that aren't vintage, but that are super cute and need new homes. So stay tuned!

Anniversary Flower

Dress: Betsey Johnson
Belt: Church shop

Monday Jonny and I celebrated our two year wedding anniversary! To greet us that morning was this gorgeous flower in our backyard. It wasn't there the day before and just seemed to appear on Monday morning. Isn't it the prettiest!? This morning it's gone. Anyway, Jonny and I had a wonderful day! First we headed to Assateague island to enjoy some fun in the sun. We picked a perfect day to go because two ponies walked right by where we were sitting! They were going through peoples bags looking for food, lol. They found a loaf of bread and ate that right up! Later we ate dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant. We both had the yummiest fish tacos and margaritas. Then later they surprised us with the most delicious nine layer banana cake! After dinner we went for a walk on the beach then home to watch one of our favorite tv shows, American Pickers. It was the perfect day!
Fun fact! The dress I am wearing just happens to be my wedding dress! Of course when we got married I didn't wear the black belt and shoes, haha! It was the perfect dress for an outdoor wedding on the coast of Maine.

Have A Happy 4th of July!

My Nanny, Part 3

Welcome to My Nanny, Part 3! We're still in the mid 1940's right around the time my Nanny met and married my Papa. I just adore the first picture. The light is magical!

Look at Papa's killer shoes!

LOVE the stripes!

I'm always hanging out the laundry. Must get that from my Nanny!

My Nanny was the best baker! I still miss her coffee cake to this day. I'm really picky about my coffee cake to say the least. :o)

That's all for today. I hope you enjoyed! Next time will be when my Dad comes into the picture. Oh my goodness, the pics are so cute I can't wait to show you! :o)
