Sailor Girl in Red

Here's one of my new red dresses! It's from the 1940s and I love it's sailor style, of course, hehe.

Well, not much to talk about today. Tomorrow is going to be a fun day though! My Mom and I are going to go have lunch, do some shopping, then go see Shutter Island. I'm soooo excited to see Shutter Island! I'll let you know how it is! ;o)

A Few Of My Favorite Things...

1940s Navy Lace Dress

1960s Hand Painted Box Purse

1950s 1960s Grace Kelly Dress

Lipstick Red Bow Flats

Super Sweet Lace Collar Sweater

A few of my favorite thing in my shop that is! There's lots new beside these pretty things as well.

I'm sorry for being such a bad blogger this past week! The snowy weather plus being very tired kept me from wanting to do much of anything. Jonny and I did have a wonderful Valentines Day though. We had the loveliest dinner at my new favorite restaurant! Not only do they have good food but they play Charlie Chaplin movies and the Memphis blues, oh yeah! So, this week I promise to be a better blogger. I have dresses I want to show you and lots of pretty spring things have been inspiring me lately. Oh, and next week will be the most exciting week of all! I'm not going to say what it is because I want it to be a surprise, hehe!

My Heart Skipped a Beat!

When I first discovered Lena Hoscheks S/S 2010 collection my heart literally skipped a beat! It's always hard for me to find a new collection or designer that I really love. There's not a collection of Lena's that I don't adore! This collection feels as if it was made just for me, it's everything that has been dancing around in my head. Look at the Elvis print blouse and dress! It just couldn't be any more perfect! So, as I sit here with the snow coming down, I can daydream about warmer days and and make believe I'm wearing Lena's dresses while walking through a field of flowers...

Oh yes, you must watch this video of the entire collection!

PS: Leslie of Dalena Vintage did a fun interview with me over on her wonderful blog! Check it out!

Red Dress Inspiration

Lately I've been crazy about all things red! Maybe it has something to do with Valentines Day coming, but mostly I think it has to do with the smile red puts on my face. Me At Sweet 16

On my last post Emma left a comment saying she'd love to see some pictures of me when I was a teenager. So, I went on a hunt this morning looking for pictures. I didn't find as much as I would have liked, mostly silly pictures of me acting, well like a teenager or funny baby pictures. I did come across a few of me all taken around the time I was 16. Yes, I smiled a lot and still had braces, hehe!

This was one of my favorite dresses. I wore it to go see Ann Margaret!

With my great Aunt and Uncle and my little bro.

This was at my Sweet 16 surprise party, put together by my friends in Memphis. Yes, I went to Graceland for my 16th birthday, lol!

The group! The handsome gentleman is Joe, a great friend of mine. He worked at Graceland for many years.

Just arriving in Memphis, my brother and I in front of Graceland. Btw, my brother is 6ft 2 now and in perfect shape, hehe.

This was taken when I was acting. I kinda love my long hair! Maybe, just with bangs this time?!
