"Love is a Burning Thing"

Sunday was Jonny and my one year wedding anniversary! I can't believe our first year as a married couple went by so fast! We spent the morning at church with my family and the afternoon and evening together doing some of my favorite things. We went to see Johnny Depp in Public Enemies, which I highly recommend. Johnny Depp and the 1930's go very well together. Later we went to our favorite mexican restaurant and sat and enjoyed each other for a couple of hours. We continued celebrating yesterday by going to the beach and doing some boogie boarding, such fun! Next year, who knows, maybe Paris?! ;o)

You might have notice the Johnny Cash and June Carter theme to our pictures. Well, Walk the Line was the movie Jonny and I saw on our first date. Also, throughout our relationship Jonny and my nicknames have been Johnny and June. Thats why it was fun to take Johnny and June inspired pictures.

And...I have a new/old bathing suit I can't wait to share with you!

Polka Dot Bikini and The Clam

First off, I have to say that I feel a little strange putting up pictures of me in a bikini! It's the one that I got for my birthday that I promised I'd share with you. So...this is what my day at the beach looked like this past Wednesday. Wearing my new bikini made me feel like I was in one of the many Elvis beach movies I watched growing up. Though instead of having Elvis sing to me I had my wonderful hubby! I hope you all are having a nice weekend so far!

New Dresses on Etsy

I have just added some new dresses and one adorable playsuit to my Etsy shop! I'm finally getting back into the Etsy swing of things now that I'm done moving. Enjoy!

Also, I will have pictures of my new swimsuit very very soon, as promised! Happy Friday Lovelys!

Lazy Hazy Summer Days

Hello again my dear blogger friends! I'm so sorry I have been gone for so long! My hubby ended up moving down to Maryland with me sooner than we thought. Which of course I couldn't be more thrilled about! So in the past few weeks I've traveled back to Maine, packed up our entire house and drove back down to Maryland. It wasn't the most glamorous few weeks. Who likes to move anyway!? I'm glad it's all over and Jonny and I are now settled in Maryland. I know I've said this before, but now I plan on doing much more blogging. This time I mean it, I promise! Anyway, these pictures were taken last Friday on my 24th birthday. I hope you enjoy!

Today I'm planning on going to the beach and relaxing. Going to the beach is always fun, but for my birthday I got a high-waisted bikini, so now it's even MORE fun...hehe. I'll take pictures of the new bikini soon. I also have been dying to watch the 1997 Lolita. I think I'll watch it tonight! If you haven't seen it, it has the most fabulous summer 4os fashions! Talk soon Darlings!

Home Again

I can't believe it's been so long since my last post! This past week I was busy moving from Maine to my home state of Maryland. It's so good to be home! I feel like I've come to the south, I guess five years of living in Maine will do that to you. The weather has been lovely and warm and being with family has been fantastic! Jonny will be joining me here at the end of the month, yay! Today my little brother (well he's 6 ft and 19) and I went thrifting to find new goodies for my Etsy shop. We also drove around enjoying having the car windows down and driving by all the old farm houses. Isn't the old house in my photos just wonderful?! I'm so excited to rediscover all the wonderful old farms around here! I'll talk you all very soon! I have a few tags to catch up on, so I'll get to those as soon as I can! :o)
